Kiera and Tyler date scene

Kiera: Oh Leighton, it's so nice to see you again. I mean look at how much you've changed

Tyler: Do you think? Well, I guess you have to.

Kiera (Stops): Wow, is this where you've bought me Leighton? I've never noticed this little place on the corner.

Tyler: I thought you'd like it. I always used to come here as a young boy.

Kiera: How about we sit next to window ey? How romantic. (Skims the menu) What are you fancying then Leighton? I'm not sure if there is much choice in a place like this.

Tyler: Actually, the fish n chips are lovely -

Kiera: 'Well I guess that'll do. And I guess you will be paying for me seeing as we're on a date.

Tyler: Ha-ha I guess I will have to.

Kiera: That's a real gentleman. Excuse me we're ready to order please!  

Jake: Okay what can I get you?

Kiera: So, me and Leighton are going to have: 2 fish n chips, 2 gravies, 2 mushy peas, and 2 still lemonades.

Tyler: I'd like my lemonade with..

Kiera: Lemon and ice please.

Jake: 2 fish n chips, 2 gravies, 2 mushy peas, and 2 still lemonades with lemon and ice?

Kiera: Perfect (Jake leaves) So I was wondering, do you bring all the girls here on a date? I mean, I bet every single girl is after you aren't they.. and even a couple of the boys I bet! (laughs)

Tyler: WHAT? What do you mean? The boys?

Kiera: Hahaha I was only joking Leighton, god.

Tyler: (silence) Well, if you must know Bonnie, you're actually the first girl I've ever been on a date with.

Kiera: Ohhh you know how to make a girl feel special don't you! (pause) So have you got any plans for later on then? .. It's just because my brothers and father are up at the steelworks tonight so I was wondering if you'd like to keep me company.

Tyler: Well, I suppose I could....

Kiera: Great it's sorted then. I think it's time for a cigeratte to celebrate don't you? You smoke, don't you Leighton?

Tyler: (laughs) Yes, course I do.

Kiera: (lights cigerate)

Tyler: (Splutters)

Kiera: Aha, are you okay? Leighton you're so funny, you've never touched a cigarate before have you?

Tyler: Yeah, I just have a bad cough.

Kiera: We've been waiting a while for this food. Shall I call him over?

Tyler; You don't need to do you..

Kiera; Excuse me please! How long will the food be? We've been waiting some time.

Jake: (looks at watch) I'm sure it's only been five minutes since you ordered

Tyler: Just ignore her hahaha

Kiera: Imagine bringing me to a place like this ey? Next time we can go somewhere a little bit more posh?
 

Tyler: That's if there is a next time!

Kiera: Don't play hard to get Leighton. Every boy dreams of taking me out.

Tyler: Just to make sure, we are just coming out for dinner just - as friends aren't we?

Kiera: Um... well, not really. You do like me don't you Leighton? 

(silence, music on, lights fade)
